We have something a little different for you this June, and it is one to clear an evening for.

On Thursday 25th June, we are bringing South Africa to life at No.82 with a beautifully put together supper club evening, in the company of someone who has spent a lifetime knowing the country firsthand.

This is more than an evening out. It is a chance to step into the warmth of South Africa for a night, without leaving Westbourne.

Here's what to expect

A culinary journey through a 6-course South African tasting menu, prepared right here by our private chef. The drinks will be flowing throughout the evening, with wines chosen to carry the warmth and the story of the country. Firsthand stories from a genuine South African specialist, someone who has known the country a lifetime, not a brochure. A relaxed, intimate setting at No.82, the room kept small on purpose, designed to feel like an evening in South Africa.

And to make the evening even more special, we are delighted to be joined by Marguerite Mornet of Y Africa Travel, who has built thoughtful safari and wine experiences across South Africa for more than thirty years. She will share firsthand insight into the country, the places worth knowing, and what makes South Africa such a rewarding destination to plan an escape around.

Born in South Africa and based along the beautiful West Coast near Cape Town, Marguerite has deep family roots in the safari industry including family managing lodges in the Greater Kruger and a husband who worked as a game ranger and tour guide throughout Africa she brings a lifetime of firsthand knowledge and passion for the continent.

If South Africa is already on your list, or you simply love discovering a country through its food, wine and the people who know it, this is an evening made to inspire.

Places are limited by the size of the room, kept small on purpose so the evening stays personal and unhurried, so early booking is wise.

We would love to see you there, in great company.

Tickets £57 per guest and full event details are on the page.

Come find us at No.82.
