  • Booking and travel information — where you make a booking, the information needed to arrange it (traveller names, dates, preferences, and any details you choose to share to help us plan your trip).
  • Newsletter and marketing details — your email address if you sign up to receive our travel news, boutique events, and offers.
  • Event and appointment details — information you provide when you book an appointment or a boutique event with us.

  • Send you our newsletter and marketing (where you've signed up) — lawful basis: consent.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through the banner on our site and your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.

Who we share your data with

We only share your data where necessary to provide our services or meet our legal obligations. This may include:

  • Travel suppliers and partners — airlines, hotels, tour operators, transfer and cruise providers, and similar, where needed to arrange the trip you've booked.
  • Financial-protection providers — our arrangements are protected through ATOL and Protected Trust Services (see "Financial protection" below); relevant booking data is shared to provide that protection.
  • Service providers — Squarespace (our website and email-campaign platform), Google (analytics), and Acuity Scheduling (appointment bookings). We do not take payment directly — payments for bookings are handled through Protected Trust Services (PTS).
  • Professional and legal bodies — where we're required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers (for example Google and Squarespace) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) are in place to protect your data.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose we collected it, including to meet legal, accounting, tax and financial-protection requirements. Booking records are typically retained for up to 7 years to meet financial and accounting obligations; enquiry and marketing data is kept until you ask us to remove it or it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • ask us to delete your data (where we're not required to keep it)
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing
  • withdraw consent to marketing at any time
  • ask for your data to be transferred (portability)

To exercise any of these, email hello@agentnouveau.com. We'll respond within one month.

Financial protection

Travel arrangements booked through Agent Nouveau are financially protected. Our bookings are ATOL protected (ATOL 12564) and all client funds are safeguarded through Protected Trust Services (PTS6090), under the JLT Group's financial protection, which covers everything booked under the Agent Nouveau name. Payments are taken through the PTS Trust rather than directly by us. To provide this protection, we share the relevant booking data with these schemes.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your data, please contact us first at hello@agentnouveau.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date above.
