The Business Of You: A Morning with Tony Bernard
Some breakfasts are about more than coffee and a catch-up.
On Tuesday 10 November, we are welcoming Tony Bernard, Chairman and Trustee of the Steve Bernard Foundation, to No.82 for the next 'The Business of You' breakfast.
There will be coffee, pastries and a thoughtfully prepared seasonal breakfast, shared around one table with just ten guests. Most importantly, there will be time to hear a remarkable local story….and to meet others who care about the difference a community can make.
And that’s exactly where our next Business of You breakfast is heading.

The Steve Bernard Foundation
The Steve Bernard Foundation was established by Tony, alongside family and friends, in 2006, in memory of his son Steve…known to those close to him as Stevie B—who died in a car accident the previous November.
Stevie loved sport and was known for playing with a smile on his face. When support began to arrive, his family chose to turn that generosity into something he would have valued deeply: helping more young people take part in sport.
Twenty years on, the Foundation has raised more than £700,000, supported over 600 projects, and reached young people across more than 30 sports and four continents. It remains entirely volunteer-run..
Its work is felt close to home, from AFC Bournemouth Ability Counts and local boxing clubs to individual young athletes. It also reaches much further, supporting projects in Thailand, Uganda and Kenya. Through equipment, funding and guidance, the Foundation helps create opportunities for children to enjoy the confidence, connection and simple pleasure that sport can bring.
This November marks 21 years since Stevie’s death, making this a particularly meaningful moment to hear from Tony about the work that continues in his name.

Breakfast With Purpose
Our The Business of You breakfasts are deliberately small. They are a chance to make new connections, share ideas and spend a morning in good company. This one also offers a thoughtful conversation about local business, community and what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose.
Breakfast will include pastries, coffee, fresh juices and seasonal dishes from the No.82 kitchen. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available—just let us know when booking.
